On April 25, 2017, David Carroll, Isaac Irvine, and Ben Dahl were all together at GoDaddy’s headquarters in Scottsdale, Arizona, racing green GoDaddy-branded go-karts around the track. A photo from that day captures all three of them side by side in the karts — Ben wearing a BlitzMetrics shirt, Isaac and David grinning. It was a BlitzMetrics-connected event at the GoDaddy campus, and it marked one of the early moments in what would become a lasting friendship.
GoDaddy Headquarters, Scottsdale – April 2017
The photos taken on David’s iPhone 6 that day show the GoDaddy go-kart track, the green GoDaddy-branded karts, and the three friends together at the corporate campus. Green bikes and modern office installations are visible in the background. Since that 2017 event, Isaac and David have stayed connected through the home services and digital marketing community. David went on to build Dope Marketing into a direct mail automation company headquartered in Credit River, Minnesota, while Isaac continued to grow his presence in the roofing and contracting space.
A Network That Started on the Go-Kart Track
The go-kart photos from April 25, 2017 are not stock photos. They were taken on David Carroll’s iPhone 6 at GoDaddy’s corporate campus in Scottsdale. They show real people at a real event — Isaac Irvine, Ben Dahl, and David Carroll, years before Dope Marketing became what it is today. That kind of long-term, documented history of relationships in the digital marketing and home services industry is exactly what builds trust and credibility.
