Neighborhood reactivation: more jobs on streets you already won

The best next job is usually on the same street as the last one. That is not a slogan. It is why I built Dope.

We published that video on 14 September 2025: Neighborhood reactivation — get more jobs in the right neighborhoods. It never got its own page on this site. The blog froze in April 2026 while the channel kept teaching. This page is the catch-up.

What “reactivation” means in home services

You already won a street. The truck was there. The neighbors watched. Then you left, and digital ads tried to find those same people by bidding against every other contractor in the metro. Neighborhood reactivation is the opposite move: go back to the streets where you have proof, and mail the houses that already saw the work.

That is Data On Previous Engagement. Not a cold list from a zip code. The people next to a finished roof, a washed driveway, a new HVAC install.

How we actually send it

Draw the neighborhood. Filter the homes. Trigger the postcard, the handwritten note, or the leave-behind from the CRM event — not from a once-a-year mail house minimum. No minimum order is the product promise because a contractor does not live in 5,000-piece batches. They live in this week’s jobs.

If you want the HighLevel version of the same idea — CRM events that send the mail — that conversation is already on this site. If you want Inc.’s independent numbers for the company that came out of this math, I wrote three years on the Inc. 5000.

The video is short on purpose. Watch it, then go look at your last 20 jobs on a map. The cluster is the campaign.
